The former New Media Director, of the Imo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, have dismissed a court notice, served on him on Facebook, by Mr. AIC Akwarandu, the former New Media Assistant to the former governor of Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.
Nwaogwugwu had made several allegations against Akwarandu, prompting Akwarandu to seek legal actions against Nwaogwugwu.
It could also be recalled, that Nwaogwugwu was dragged before a Magistrate Court in Owerri, at the orders of Senator Hope Uzodinma, who he made some defamatory allegations against, while he was the PDP New Media Director.
Dismissing Akwarandu’s notice, Nwaogwugwu called out Ihedioha and Imo State PDP, to come out against him, rather than hiding behind people he termed as charlatans.
His post on his Facebook handle, which he deleted later but not on time enough before we obtained it reads as follows;
“It is only cowards that hide under pseudonyms to fight their targets.
If Ihedioha and Imo PDP have decided to fight me, they should come out plain and stop hiding behind Charlatans to fight me.
Not amount of coercion, threats or antic can stop me.
They don’t serve notice on Facebook.
April 20, 2021.”
